Here is the victim a Gigabyte X700 card with a silentpipe solution also. The issues with this card these days is that I have not been able to play longer periods of time without reboots or artifacts so I decided to take this as a test card to test this new cooling out with. First I have removed the old heatsink and mounted the small heatsinks on the memory on the card. The “bigger” ramsinks go on the front and the small ones on the back if the chips show on the back.

The small clips have to be adjusted to fit your card, you do this by just letting the screw loose a bit to move the clips over. See to that the both parts are tigtened and well mounted in place as the manual says.

Here we have everything mounted, after the front and back pieces are mounted you put on some thermal paste and slide the heatpipes on and then you start mounting the big heatsinks and screw them on and after that you take the small clips and mount them as a final step. This took me about 20 min to get everything together so you should be able to do it around the same time, I would recommend to be careful though and take your time.

The whole thing takes up two PCI slots so you need to have some room in your case. It’s time to do some testing to see how this product really performs.
Overclocking/Testing:
The previous heatsink got hot pretty much right away when turning the computer on but with this cooler you actually do have to start gaming for it to get hot. I was able to play without any artifacts or any lockups with this product mounted. I was able to boost the core and ram also about 30 mhz from stock speeds and with the old one I could not tweak it even 1 mhz so this really does perform well. Temperature wise you get pretty much same temperatures as a cooling with stock fan but the temperatures get a tad higher when gaming. The conclusion would be that if you are tired of your annoying 40 mm fan on the video card swtich to this product that does really work even under heavy gaming.
Conclusion:
This is a great product and the installation was a piece of cake really, I like the idea that everything is included with this even the screwdriwer that is needed. It really does work also we were able to overclock the card a bit with this even without artifacts. You get a completely silent card which is able to run hours and hours of gaming so oaying the 29$ for this product is not bad at all. The manual is very good and it explains all the steps detail by detail and all the parts are even numbered out so you know excatly what piece you need for the specific test, it’s almost like IKEA furniture which is very basic to put together. Overall we give this product 5 out of 5 and our Editors choice award for a great cooler that makes your video card quiet for a small amount of money.
