Introduction
We have some interesting looking mousepads on the test bench today. We will look at the Aqua 3 and Thunder8 mousepads from Xraypads. We have one fabric and one hard plastic mousepad that we will be testing in gaming and normal use. Stay tuned if you are in the market for a new mousepad.

We got a sheet of these Zero friction pads that you can put under the mouse to get a even better slide on them. They work well on most mousepads but on fabric ones I felt no difference. Ok, on the right we have the Aqua3 pad which is HUGE it’s even bigger than my Qpad and it has a funcky fabric which still gives a very good slide for a fabric pad. I can tell you this pad will not move on the table as it almost glues itself on the table.

In the corner they have marked the logo for this specific pad. On the right picture we can see the slip free rubber bottom. This stuff does the trick and even at intense gaming it won’t move around.

My MX700 is a big mouse but look at the size of this huge mousepad! Gaming overall was nice on the Aqua3 pad but cloth is always cloth. Let’s check out the Thunder 8 pad which comes in this cool aluminum box like the Func pads do!
