First let’s take a look at the front panel. There are three 5.25″ slots and one external 3.5″ slot. 5.25″ slots are located in the upper section while 3.5″ slot is around the middle. The whole front panel is made from mesh and Xigmatek logo is printed in the bottom section of the front panel.
Our sample is the version with the window on the left side panel. The window is roughly X-shaped (Xigmatek) and covers most of the entire side panel.
Both the front panel connectors and power/reset button are located on top of the case. Putting the connectors on top seems to be some kind of popular trend these days and there’s a good explanation for it. Most of us (at least almost everyone I know) have their computer located on the floor and therefore having the USB / Audio connectors on top of the computer makes using them very easy. On the other hand, if you have your computer on your desk, using the connectors on Asgard Pro might be a bit tricky. Asgard Pro has 2 USB2.0 connectors, one USB 3.0 connector and typical audio connectors in the “front panel”.
Also on top of the case there’s slots for two 120/140mm fans (or water radiators if you’re in to water cooling.) Unfortunately the top fan slots do not have dust filters attached in them.
