Conclusion

Conclusion:

This is a very good player that I really like. I won’t say it’s top-of-the-line but it’s a good player that probably goes for a good price also. X-Micro has good prices on their products so that’s why I think this also will sell for cheaper than most other players. You get the basic functions with this as radio, equalizer, etc. The sound is pretty good if you get another pair of headphones. I don’t like the headphones that are usually included with the mp3 players. The flaw with this player is that the radio is built on to the headphone cord. It looks nice but if you change headphones you won’t have a radio with you. The menus are very easy and nice to navigate through and the documentation was great also so I belive that this player will attract alot of people that don’t want those ‘fancy extras’ that you also have to pay for. I cannot say if it’s a con that the battery is not built in and charged through the USB port or not since people like both. Overall we give this4 out of 5 for a great and simple player that is easy to use and navigate in.

Pros:

+ Small
+ Looks cool and well packed
+ Good accessories
+ Easy to navigate in
+ Good documentation
+ Built in USB connector

Cons:

- Radio on the headphones
- No USB 2 (only one player that has but anyways)
- No OGG support

the “game” setting is used when gaming on the xbox or ps3, and since on the consoles the headset is forced to use its built-in sound card, there is a faint hissing when using it, which is why i presume you said it was awful… when using on the pc just keep it on “pc” mode
