Couple weeks ago Microsoft announced the prices of Windows 8. There is one major difference between the prices of Windows 8 vs the prices of older Windowses. Traditionally upgrade versions of Windows has been priced around 100€, but as of now you can upgrade your Windows to Windows 8 with a reasonable 39,99USD. All Windowses since Windows XP SP3 can be upgraded to Windows 8. You can read the whole details of the upgrade program from Windowsteamblog and the offer is valid until the late January. After that the upgrade version of Windows 8 will cost 69,99USD.
Also if you have recently bought a computer with Windows 7, you are eligible to get Windows 8 even cheaper. Check Microsoft’s homepages for more details about this offer.
