The inside doesn’t surprise me either, included with the mouse you get a quick guide along with the software cd.

The mouse is shaped like the laser desktop mouse and is both in shape and button configuration exactly like the bigger brother. The only thing that actually is different is that the mouse is corded.

Testing the Verbatim Optical Desktop Mouse:

The Optical desktop mouse works excatly like the bigger brother so it basically works great in normal windows surfing. We got the same issue with this mouse though as the scroll wheel is a bit stiff which can get annoying after awhile. In fast FPS games we found this mouse to have some minor lagg which shows as minor jumps when you move the cursor around.

Conclusion:
Both mice worked very well in normal windows usage and surfing the net. I still think that the scroll wheels are to stiff though which is a big con. In gaming the lase mouse is unbeatable when we compare it vs the optical mouse. Both mice are comfortable in your hand even after longer periods of use. I can recommend the Wirelessl Desktop mouse to both active gamers and also to normal workers that need a good mouse. Optical desktop I can recommend for normal use but it has a minor lag in fast FPS games but for average gamers it will also do great.
Pros:
+ Comfortable in your hand
+ Enough buttons
+ Wireless Dekstop for both gaming and normal usage

Cons:
- Optical Desktop mouse laggs in fast FPS games.
