The transmitter and receiver look the same but there is one difference and that is that the transmitter has an IR port so you can plug the extender in. The unit is about the same size as a normal modem so it’s actually quite small and fits pretty much anywhere.

Here we have a picture of the transmitter and the only difference on the reciver is that there is no IR port as this one has to the right. The antenna is not very long so it will not be in the way even when it’s pulled up out of its place.

Testing:

I tested this product by playing a movie of my computer on the TV. The TV was placed in the livingroom which has a wall between the computer and the TV and the length to the TV is around 6 meters so the signals have to go through a brick wall and 6 meters to be able to get the signals to the receiver unit. Did this work? Yes it worked like incredibly well! We were able to watch a movie on the TV with sound and everything and there were no cuts in the movie even though a person walked in front of the reciver.

Conclusion:

This product works very good and is a nice addition to your wireless home. This will make things much easier for me personally so I don’t have to run a 20 meter long video cord from the computer to the TV. Testing just proved that this works great and is very easy to install as you have to only plug in 4 cords to get this thing running. Well packed and includes informative manuals… what else is there to say? We give this 5 out of 5 and our recommendations for a great wireless product.

Pros:

+ Easy to install
+ Works very well
+ Good manuals in different languages
+ Well packed
+ Small transmitter and receiver

Cons:

- None
