The router interface is fairly clean and laid out very well and maintains a good balance between the power user and the novice user. All of the important functions a basic user would need are laid out with the functions a power user would need being easily available as well.
One thing that I did note was that anytime a configuration change was made to the TL-WNDR4300 I would have to restart it. The latest firmware from TP-Link decreased the amount of time between reboots but still added a bunch of time to the initial configuration of the device.
Also another issue I did notice is that there is that any external USB hard drive attached to the TL-WNDR4300 never spun down. Having the ability to spin down and spin up the drive when needed would keep the drive from spinning all the time extend the drives life.
