Thermaltake Polo12 kit

Heatsink temperatures:

We were able to get pretty good temperatures with this heatsink. We ran it on a AMD Xp 2600+. We got idle temps of 40 and full temperatures that were at 47 degrees celsius with about 24 degrees celsius in the room. This is above average when I look into the stats of the heatsinks I have reviewed before.

Fan testing:

The fans that are included have a good noise/air ratio and since they can be controlled with the fan controller you will be able to run it at your choice.

Conclusion:

Well to sum this up this kit is above average but still has a few flaws that I wish they would fix. The PSU does not perform as good as it should at 12V and the heatsink could perform better with maybe a full copper heatsink. If you are looking for a quiet kit this might be something that you should look into since Thermatake makes good quality products. All in all we give this 4 out of 5 for a nice average quiet cooling kit.

Pros:

+ Nice kit overall
+ Quiet PSU
+ SATA power connectors on the PSU
+ Fan controller included

Cons:

- The PSU lacks at the 12V rail
- Heatsink is lacking in performance compared to other Thermaltake heatsinks.

Red&Blackness gives it 4 out of 5 dots
