Conclusion
Today it’s time to look at a heatsink at rbmods. It was awhile ago we looked at heatsinks but the one we have today is for the new socket 775 Intel processor. We have looked for a good cooler for this new processor to be able to test overclocking on it. So is this the best we have found thus far? Lets check it out!

We tested the cooler against the stock cooler provided with the processor and we did the testing with idle and full mode. Full mode was taken while running Sisoft Sandra 2004 burn in program.
The numbers do speak for themselves. Personally I think that I would run with the stock cooler as im sensitive against loud sounds. This cooler is VERY loud I would guess around 50-60 dB which is really loud. You have to count on the sound/cooling ratio before buying one.
Conclusion:
A loud cooler that cools ok is the line that should cover the conclusion almost. Its a high quality cooler that does the job but personally I would go for the stock cooler that I got with the CPU. The fan is just to loud otherwise the heatsink is very well done and its overall a high quality product. You get few degrees lower temperatures but the noise just almost doesnt make it worth it. We give this cooler 3 out of 5 for a cooler that does the job but needsa fan controller or something to controll the fan to get the noise down.
