The outside of the box is rather simple, only having the Thermalright Logo.Once opened you can see where they spent their time on packaging.Any empty space in the box is filled with Styrofoam as well as the heatsink and fan being covered in plastic wrap. Not much of a chance for this product to be damaged in shipping.
Everything needed for installation with compatible cards comes with the V1-Ultra.With a parts list and easily laid out instructions, you can tell which parts you’ll need for your particular card without a hitch.Coming with the mandatory installation items you also receive thermal paste as well as a Thermalright sticker.
As well as the V1-Ultra being compatible with newer cards from both ATI and Nvidia, Thermalright has added a third heat pipe for more heat transfer.On the back you can see the stock 80mm fan that comes already installed.With the stock fan being rated at 24.84CFM @ 31.3 dBA, will the V1-Ultra be able to cool a Geforce 6800 256Mb.
