Testing:

The tests were ran on this rig:
AMD XP 2200+@2800+
DFI Lanparty Kt400a
512 mb DDR ram
Geforce 2 TI
IBM 60 GXP 60 gig HD
Noname case
Liteon 52x Cdrom

We used Artic Silver 3 for thermal compound and the room temperature was around 26 celsius. Normal room temperature is 21 so this was a really hot day! The overclocking specs are as following, 165fsb and 2V Vcore

Fan specs:

12VDC Fan : 808044 mm (l w h)
808025mm
Bearing Ball bearing
Rated speed 2300 RPM +/-10%
Rated power 1.08 W
Noise level 25.0 dBA
Air flow 28.0 at 2300 RPM +/-10%
Current 0.09 A
Life hours Ball: 50.000

As we see the heatsink really rox!!! Even with these hot summer days it keeps your processor under 40C which even my watercooling doesnt at the moment :)

Conclusion:

With a price around 50$ this is a really good choice for overclockers or for people that don’t want to run watercooling. This heatsink really rox I could not find any flaws more than the fan mounting system and that there is no installation manual in box but those are such small flaws. With these heatsinksyou can run a cool system even during hot summer days or hot Lanpartys! Even high overclocking does not stop this heatsink. I’m really looking forward for Thermalrights new cooler in the future and hope to be able to review it. This is a really good buy and it gets 5 out of 5 and recommedation from rbmods.com for a good cooler with alot of capabilities.

Pros:

+ Really well made
+ REALLY! good cooling capabilities
+ Well packed
+ Works both for P4 and AMD

Cons:

- Weird fan installation
- No installation guide in box
