Introduction
This is the badboy of CPU coolers. We know Alpha and Swiftech but this one is even better… or is it? Well that’s what we are looking at tonite. Unfortunately I have neither Swiftech or a Alpha cooler to compare with since they are not willing to sponsor us at the moment… But stay tuned anyways because I have some nice temps for you guys, even under heavy overclocking!

This heatsink has a little different installation than most others. The “fan clips” on the left are the mounting parts for the fan. You clip them on to these small holes on the side of the heatsink. In the zip lock bag there is the mounting screws for the heatsink.

Here we see the motherboard from the other side where to X-plate is… On the right picture I have started to install the heatsink and proper installation guide can be found on the Thermalright homepage But start with mountin the X-plate on the other side of the motherboard and screwing the standoffs into the metall plate from the other side.

As you see the heatsink is really well made and looks really good after installtion. It does not take up to much space even though it’s a top end cooler. On the right picture we can see that the bottom is nice and shiny without scratches. It was protected with a protective plastic film but I removed it before taking the picture….
