The PSU came well packaged, with a descriptive box that listed most of the performance specifications and the available power connectors. As seen on the front of the box, the PSU is advertised as being server ready.

Inside, the package includes the PSU, a power cable, and a set of instructions.Surprisingly, there were no screws that came with the package.Probably a minor inconvenience for those serious builders who could probably find four screws in their parts box, but for entry-level builders it may pose a problem. The PSU itself was encased in bubblewrap and showed no shipping damage.

Unwrapping the PSU from the bubblewrap, the first thing I noticed was that the cables were attached to the PSU.In other words, the PSU is not a modular PSU.Modular PSUs allow PSU customization by plugging in only the cables that are necessary. However, dont be fooled by that sexy feature; the presence of an additional connector adds electrical resistance to the connection, which means a voltage drop, more heat, and less efficiency. So, continuous wires are a good thing. The cables are nicely wrapping with cable sleeving. The side of the PSU indicates that the two 12V rails deliver 18A each.
