The setting menu allows you to change various settings for the different parts of the player. You can for example change, music, radio and record options. The second row allows you to change display, audio play, and system settings. The last yellow row allows you toset power off time, default settings, and use the firmware upgrade feature.

Music setting:

In this section you can set repeate mode, play mode, EQ select and user EQ setting.

Radio setting:

Here you can change from Stereo Switch to FM region.

Rec setting:

Here you set the Rec Quality and volume. Quality wise you can set High or Normal quality.

Display setting:

This section explains itself, you can choose between Blight Time, Lum and Blight mode.

Auto play set:

Here you choose between Text or Jpeg.

System:

This menu controls most of the system settings like Language, About, Calibrate and the Bee setting.

Power off time:

If you want the player has the ability to shut down within a certain time if you don’t use it. To access this you are going to have to enter this menu section and set the player to shut down within 10 to 60 minutes. You can set either 10, 15, 30 or 60 min.

Default set and Firmware upgrade:

In the default set menu you reset the software in the player to the default settings, this is good in case you have some errors with the player. The firmware upgrade on the other hand upgrades the firmware/software in the player with error fixes or new features that are released.

Conclusion:

This is an excellent player there is no doubt about it, I am just confused about the similarity of the player compared to the Iphone. It is a smart move by Supertalent though as the Iphone sells well so it might pull this into it also. It has loads of nice new features and the battery time along with the easy menu setup makes this mp4 player a great buy. It feels good and a game adds some extra pros to the player. I beleive that Supertalent will release a new firmware with some more games to attract even more users to buy this mp4 player. I hope I have brought out the points you were interested in and all I can end this review with is saying this is a awesome mp4 player and the only con I can find is that the “pointing pen” is not built into the player so you will have to try not to loose or break it.

Pros:

+ Feels great in your hand
+ Cool features
+ Game included
+ Good battery time
+ Clear sound

Cons:

- Pen is not built into the player

the “game” setting is used when gaming on the xbox or ps3, and since on the consoles the headset is forced to use its built-in sound card, there is a faint hissing when using it, which is why i presume you said it was awful… when using on the pc just keep it on “pc” mode
