Introduction
Well tonite we are having a look at some lighted IDE cables from Sunbeam. Sunbeam has made themselves known as a modding company and we have reviewed several of their products lately. Tonite however we are having a look at some IDE cables that light up to give your case a nicer look. Let’s see how these perform compared to normal IDE cables and if there is any problems with them. Stay tuned as tonite is going to be bright for us

As always the products were very well packed by Sunbeam. They really put some effort in their packing and making them attractive looking. On the back we find specifications as usual also.

Included in the box we have one inverter with the IDE cable itself. The inverter is fairly small and fits pretty much anywhere in your case. The black connector is connected to the IDE cable and the molex connector goes to a molex connector from the power supply.

Under the inverter you have a sticker so you can mount the inverter on the side of the case or wherever you prefer. The cable is a high quality round ide cable the rubber around the cable is thick so you should not be able to break it and its still flexible and you can pretty much bend it as much as you want. Remember also that round cables give better airflow in the case.

Sunbeam has nicely marked the connectors so you easily know which goes where. These also work as a tool so you can pull them off easier if you leave the tabs on. The connectors are very well protected as seen on the right picture. Thick rubber protects them from breaking.
