Conclusion
HDtach and HDspeed benchmarks:

423456125657430 35624,648374,845815,1 218742759118624

40,362,652,4 35,353,753,6
These stats were the final ones that seem to have decided the fastest drive. The IDE drive gets better results with both HDtach and HDspeed. Personally I don’t see a difference in these drives. It does not really matter what drive you buy at the moment but as we know in the future SATA will be the faster drive as they will release never and faster ones next year if I’m not completely wrong
Conclusion:
After the final testing we could finally get out the fastest drive. The IDE drive was faster in Hdtach and HDspeed so that kind of showed which drive is the fastest. The SATA and IDE drive pretty much go hand in hand as they are the same speed. I doubt anyone of us would even realize the speed difference in normal use. All in all these are two really fast drives as we can see on the Sisoft Sandra benchmarks when they are compared to some other SATA,SCSI drives. How about noise? I really had to put my ear close to the drives to be able to hear them. Of course you can hear a little when they are under load but which drive can’t you hear? They get kind of warm but that pretty much go for all drives that are made nowadays. All in all we cannot do more than give these drives 5 out of 5 and a recommendation for really quiet and fast harddrives.
Pros:
+ Fast
+ Quiet
+ Easy to install
+ Very well packed
Cons:
- Sata drives not included with the drive, had to be downloaded
