Installation of the components inside the case didnt go as smoothly as I would have liked.A couple of things that stood out was the fact that the hard drive IDE cable barely reached the motherboard, and I couldnt figure out how to hook up the fans to the temperature display in the front.I took the time to add all the peripherals to this case and was able to install everything, although the cables looked like a mess and I was barely able to get all the power supply cables to fit inside the case.

I ran into another problem when I tried to hook up the temperature monitoring probes to the motherboard. The wires that connected the probes to the temperature display were too short and did not reach some of the components such as the video card processor.

Yet another problem I had with the installation was concerned that 250mm fan.I was initially unable to close the case because the fan interfered with some of the internal components, so I had to move things around and install a different VGA cooler to accommodate the fan.The fan is mountedin such a way that it cannot be moved without modifying the grill. If youre unable to move things around, you either have to remove the interfering component or remove the fan.

Once I finally got the case closed and computer powered on, the blue LEDs on the fan and the temperature display came to life, which looked nice. The noise level of the case was on-par with other cases, which is nice given the number of fans. The temperatures of the components in the case went down 1-2 degrees C, which was a decent drop.

Conclusion:

Unlike the previously reviewed Sansun Bat case, the Sansun Galaxy computer case did not leave me with a great impression. While the exterior of the case was appealing and there were some nifty features included such as the large fan and temperature display, the difficult installation process and some design shortcomings left something to be desired.Hopefully the next or retail version of this case will address some of these shortcomings, but until then I would rate this case a 3 out of 5.

Pros:

+ Nice looking exterior
+ Included temperature display and fans included.
+ Decent cooling performance

Cons:

- Cables were too short/not labeled
- Difficult installation process
- Cramped interior
- Large fan may interfere with other components
- Not tool-less in places where it should have been

Red&Blackness gives it 3 out of 5 dots
