Tonite we will have a look at a new mouse. This is just not any mouse but it’s the Razer Viper mouse. Razer are known for releasing high DPI mice that are made for extreme gaming. This Viper model seems to be a very nice mouse looking at the specifications.

This is pretty funny because the mouse was packed in a little “Lan” bag which has a belt clip so you can hang it on your belt. There is also a small card that has some specifications and a URL where you can download drivers for the mouse. The mouse was packed in bubble wrap to give it extra protection.

The mouse is pretty normal sized so it will fit all hands, even kids should be able to use this. The USB cable is 7 foot long which is more than enough. The long cord makes up for the mouse not being wireless. The USB connector is gold coated which minimizes the chance of corrosion. On the middle of the mouse Razer has put their logo which gives it a nice look.

On both sides of the mouse we find non-slip side rails to prevent your hands from slipping off the mouse. The mouse has two BIG buttons that are also non-slip, this you can feel when you use it since the fingers will not slip off the buttons. If we look on the right picture we see that the mouse is not very high which gives even more hands the possibility to use this comfortable mouse.

The bottom is equipped with three ultraslick teflon feet and this you can really feel when you use the mouse on a good mousepad or even the table. Compared to the Logitech MX700 mouse the Viper is very small but don’t let this pictuer fool you.

This picture shows better how much smaller the Viper is. The difference is pretty big but the MX700 is a very big mouse. On the right picture we have the mouse running and plugged in. It glows with a nice red shine and even the scroll wheel shines red.

I bought this keyboard for my fiance as a Christmas gift, and overall
we’ve enjoyed it. The keyboard itself is fantastic, and the keys have a
solid feel to them with a nice, even distribution for the backlight.

    Our
only real issue is the battery life. The batteries fully drain about
every 10 days or so, and this seems to be regardless of whether or not
the backlight is on. You can plug in the keyboard via Micro USB, but
it’s an unnecessary step for an otherwise great keyboard.

Roccat Isku is wired keyboard so battery life shouldn’t be an issue :-)
