If you play a lot of games or share your computer with someone the profile tab will be very important for you. It allows you to save your specific settings for each game, so when you change games you just need to change the profile to get the specific settings.

If you like to play around with macros this mouse will be able to do that also, for example in the fourth tab you can go in and create your macros and save them. You can also test the macro within the software to make sure it works as its supposed to.

The last tab allows you to play around with the LED light settings, there is a LED on the wheel which lights up when the mouse is connected.

Conclusion:

The Imperator is a great mouse, I have been comparing it vs the Steelseries Xai for a while now and noticed that both are excellent mice with one minor difference. The Imperator is actually a bit louder to move on our mousepads that we have used. The Xai is almost silent while the Imperator makes a noise while you move it over our Qpad mousepads.

Otherwise the mouse works great during gaming and normal usage, the Battlefield 3 logo ads a cool look to it also but I don’t know if it’s worth the extra dollars that it costs compared to the earlier Imperator.

Overall a very nice mouse that has no lag or delays in fast FPS gaming.

Pros:
+
Comfortable
+ Nice looking
+ Sleeved cable
+ Good software
+ Macro and profile support

Cons:
- Louder than Steelseries Xai
