Well how big is the mouse then? To compare with I took my old Logitech MX700 to compare with and as we can see the Diamondback is not small at all. Mx700 is a big mouse which fits comfortable in your hand but so does this even though they are shaped very differently. The Diamondback is a little bit lower than the MX700 which makes it better for the hand as you reach the buttons and it feels more comfortable.

In action the mouse feels amazing and looks amazing. The middle of the mouse and the mousewheel glows in bright red which is a very cool effect.

Software:

The software works great and holds all the settings you will need to change on this mouse. Basically it has three menus and the first one has the settings for the doubleclick speed and sensitivty settings. The second menu has the settings for the scroll wheel on the mouse.

Finally we have the third menu in the software which controls all the seven buttons the mouse is equipped with. You can also change if you are left or right handed. This mouse works as well for both since it’s not ergonomically shaped for either hand.

Testing:

Well after testing this mouse both in gaming and normal use I have to say that it is sensitive, just what gamers are looking for. It took me awhile to get used to it after using my cordless MX700 but this thing really works well both with cloth and plastic mousepads. The software makes all the settings easy to set so you can enjoy this mouse right away after installation.

Conclusion:

Well once again Razer has done it. They keep producing these great mice that you can use both for ultimate gaming and for normal use. The mouse fits perfect in my hand and the buttons are big so you can rest your hand pretty much how you want on the mouse. There is seven buttons for your use so you can program enough settings for gaming or just internet surfing. The pad works great on my QPAD mousepad and I have also tested with Xtra pads which have a plastic cover so this mouse do not have problems with mousepads as far as I have tested. The little protective lan bag is also cool to preserve the nice looks on the mouse when you store it or move it to a LAN. It was well packed and the software is easy to use so there is not much more you can ask for. We give this 5 out of 5 and editors choice for a great every day and gaming mouse that is extremly sensitive which will fit even the pickiest users.
