The front side of the unit has a USB-slot for external hard disk or memory stick, power button, sync-button and couple leds to indicate actions the NAS does. You can plug even more external hard disks to be shared via the IB-NAS6210 using the USB and eSATA-connectors located in the backside of the unit.

Our sample unit, IB-NAS6210, is a single hard disk model. Two disk model, with two hard disk caddies, is available with a model name IB-NAS6220. Hard disk’s are hot pluggable and can be switched, at least in theory, when the NAS-device is powered on. Hard disk caddy in IB-NAS6210 can be locked using the key provided with the packet.

Installing and switching the hard disk in the caddy was easy. Put the disk in the caddy, tighten couple screws and you’re ready to go. Just plug the hard disk in, go to your web-management and start using your new NAS-device.
