The front of the hub has two ports on the bottom of the droid itself, in the back you will find two more ports. If you decide to run something heavier like scanners or printers through this device an external power supply is suggested.

The cord is quite long so you can easily hook it up to your computer and put it on a table.

The left chart shows the R2-D2 hub and the right one shows a Hiyatek USB 2 hub. We can clearly see a difference between them, the R2-D2 hub is faster in the removable storage test in Sisoft Sandra 2009.

You can view most of our products on Youtube before the reviews are released. Here is a in action shot when I plug in a usb memory stick into the hub. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iu8bKE6QFGQ
Conclusion:
This is a cool little usb hub, I personally got bored of the normal square hubs even though they take up less space than this one. I got this one for around 25$ which is not that bad to be honest, the performance was good and it also looks quite cool although some might find it to geeky. (Like your wife or girlfriend!)
I don’t think there is much more I can say about this device, cool sounds and cool looks combined with good performance. The only con I can see is that this thing is a bit bulky.
Pros:
+ Fast
+ Cool
+ Cool sounds
+ Well priced
Cons:
- Size
