Phanteks sent us their newest cooler called PH-TC12DX for review. It is an aluminum based cooler with a copper base and single 120mm fan (compatible with two fans). Let’s see what it has to offer and how well it performs in our test bench.

PH-TC12DX comes in a white cardboard box. On the frontside there is a picture of the cooler with fans attached in to it. The cooler is 126 x 107 x 157mm and should fit in most cases available out on the market.

Inside the package is the actual heatsink accompanied with two 120mm silent fans, tube of silver paste and the necessary accessories to secure the heatsink to the motherboard. PH-TC12DX comes with two sets of accessories; one for Intel based boards and the other for AMD based boards. PH-TC12DX supports all Intel consumer sockets starting from Socket 775 and from AMD side supported are all consumer motherboard sockets from AM2 to the newest AM3+, including FM1 and FM2.
