Today we will take a look at Patriot’s new 32GB USB flash drive called Patriot Rage. Rage is high performance drive with capacity up to 256GB. Let’s take a closer look how it performs in our tests.

Patriot Rages comes packed in small plastic coated cardboard sheet. The capacity of the drive and writespeed are printed on the frontside. Patriot has printed the most important features in multiple languages alongside with contact information on the backside. According to printed text in the package, the memory has lifetime warranty unless specified otherwise by local laws.

Patriot has decided to keep accessories provided with the memory very simple. No manual, no USB cords – only the memory module. The thumb drive is switchblade style so the USB connector itself goes inside module and no external caps are needed. The module is about 5cm long and 1cm thick in “transportation mode”. The module has Patriot log oand texts “Rage XT 32GB in it”.

Here we have the module alongside with minisized supertalent drive and normalsized USB drive made by Maxell. The Patriot module is around the same size as the Maxell, but does not require external cap like the Maxell does.
