Futher testing and Overclocking

Everest Ultimate Edition:

Pcmark Vantage:

To give you even more test results we ran both memory kits in Pcmark and here we can see a small change in favor of the Gskill memory kit.

Overclocked:

To check stability of our overclocking results we ran the 8M test in SuperPi. We were able to boost the the speeds a bit from the stock 3,2GHz to 3,9GHz with some minor Vcore tunings.

Stability was very good at these speeds, and we were also able to boot at 250 but not run a SuperPi run so there is more to get from these ram kits than what we got.

Unpacking:

Conclusion:

Looking at this kit I can tell you that it performs good like it is supposed to, I did not see any rocket speeds (yes I know our board was not fully compatible) but the speed was there.

This kit is quite expensive and sells for around 210$ right now at Newegg with a mail in rebate, this is something that is a tad over most users budget as they tend to spend most of their dollars on videocards. The memory overclocks well though and I am certain in this case we were

limited due to something in our setup. When it comes to the heatsink I have to admit I am positively suprised how well they perform, even under load with higher vcore the ram was barely warmed at all so something must have been done right when it comes to designing these heatsinks.

Overall though a good kit with a bit to spendy pricetag for my pockets for sure!

Pros:
+ Fast
+ Overclocking
+ Lifetime warranty

Cons:
- Price
