Looking closer at the Pcmark 7 score we can see that both drives are faster at specific tasks.

In ATTO we actually see the specified read speeds but the write is still about 30MB/s lower than specified.

I have browsed through the 128GB SSD drives at Newegg and price-wise the Patriot drive is somewhere in the middle of all of them. You can get drives with similar speeds for about the same price.
So what makes this stand out? That is the question I keep asking myself, performance wise it’s decent but not as fast as they specified. I have tried various motherboard settings to see if I could improve performance but so far I have not been fortunate and found any setting that slows the drive down.

Overall though it was stable and worked good though and right now you can pick this drive up for less than 199$ from Newegg.
