Conclusion
OCZ does not need alot of presentation as we all know already they make great ram and power supplies. We got a nice looking dual memory kit from them for a review consisting of 1 GB 3700 rev 3 gold ram that we will look at more tonight. We will have a nice comparison vs some Corsair and Mushkin ram and also see how far we can push these sticks overclocked so stay tuned for this review.
Pcmark2004:

Small differences but the OCZ ram is the fastest in PCmark2004. This is getting more and more interesting. We had the latest Pcmark patch up to date when we ran the test.
Superpi/Pifast:

The lower the better in Pifast and as we can see both the Mushkin and OCZ ram beats the Corsair sticks. We used Superpi for this test but also Pifast but we decide to take the Superpi results to show you.
Overclocking:
Well after having some fun for a hour or so we have some results to share. As you saw earlier we used the latest DFI board for this that can push our some very nice voltages. At stock latings 2-3-3-8 I was able to push this ram to 245*9 mhz without additional cooling. I threw on a 92 mm fan to cool the ram of a little as I boosted the voltage up more when running the ram at 280*8 at 2.5-4-4-8 latency and this was at 3.4 volt which creates quiet a bit of heat. 280 was max what we got it running at but I dont think the ram stopped us this time but something else in the rig.
Conclusion:
We have some great ram here that really performs well and also looks cool is there anything else you can ask for more than a beer maybe? As we can see this ram is fast compared to the other top brands also and its very stable and also overclocks well. Pricewise it’s not to bad either compared to other big companies that I have seen. OCZ does make great memory that is something I have to admit and they do hold the specifications about low latency and high speeds and therfore we give this ram our editors choice award and 5 out 5 rating for really extreme ram.
Pros:
+ Fast
+ Well packed
+ Very stable
+ Low latency
+ Overclocks well
Cons:
- Price?
