Conclusion

Sound quality:

Sounds wise the player is very good as we listened to all kinds of music and even the radio works very well. We did a auto search and it found most of the channels around our area. Otherwise listening to mp3 was a nice feeling also as even the included headphones had pretty good sound quality. We tried with some Shure E2C earphones also and the player was able to run these headphones without any problem and push out great sound quality.

Conclusion:

To sum this review up I give my thumbs up for this player. The only flaw I could find was the headphones felt like they would break anytime; otherwise the sound quality was good and the radio was able to find the channels without any problems. The player itself is great and the battery time is what it should be, but of course you have to think that different volume and song quality will use the battery a bit more. For me the battery time was around the promised ~26 hours. The accessories work well and they were all very well packed and not to forget that this player is equipped with fast USB2. Overall this is a extremely good mp3 player which we give 5 out of 5 and our recommendations.

Pros:

+ Small
+ Lightweight
+ Good sound quality
+ Good accessories
+ Well packed
+ USB2
+ Easy to navigate in

Cons:

- Headphone quality except the sound

the “game” setting is used when gaming on the xbox or ps3, and since on the consoles the headset is forced to use its built-in sound card, there is a faint hissing when using it, which is why i presume you said it was awful… when using on the pc just keep it on “pc” mode
