Prominent 5 we have in review is colored all in black. Front side is made from black mesh looking metal grid and it has five 5.25″ slots in it. The uppermost slot is convertable to 3.5″ slot by default. However, you can put it in any of the 5.25″ slots you wish. Both sides have Nexus logo on them and the case stands on four rubber feet.
The top side of the case has ventilation holes in order the exhaust fan‘s air to get out from the case without a trouble. There is a small hatch in the front section of the top. Underneath it is the reset button and front panel connectors which we will take a closer look later on. Interior of the case is well designed. Toolless hard drive, 5.25″ device and PCI-card arrays makes it easy to add devices in to your case. There is also a cable management system within the case in order to the air flow freely inside it.
