Conclusion

Overclocking:

Our Powersteam 520W was able to push out some juice for this test. The first thing we tried was 240 FSB which we easily got up to with 3.1V and standard timings. All testing is done with stock timings by the way. 250FSB went really good also with a 37sec run with SuperPi 1M test. 260FSB worked also and we got it down to 36 seconds this time running the ram at 3.3v and 270 worked getting into windows and suddenly we had a reboot which ruined out windows installation. I have to say that after tweaking a bit you can get up to even 280FSB into windows but not SuperPi stable. Overall I am not to shocked that this memory would go so high as my expecations were high and they were also fullfilled.

Conclusion:

This is a great kit from Mushkin once again, we were able to overclock it very easily and it ran smooth without any lockups or bootups during benchmarking and testing. It also looks very nice with the read heatsinks and you have great performance even at stock speeds. I think our testing says pretty much everything needed to be said about this ram and we give this kit 5 out of 5 and our editors choice award for the best memory kit this far from Mushkin that we have had the pleasure to test.

Pros:

+ Fast
+ Well packed
+ Nice heatsinks
+ Overclocks very well
+ Lifetime warranty

Cons:

- None this far
