Conclusion

SuperPi:

In SuperPi the lower the better and we have a second difference with this ram compared to the Xpert we tested earlier.

Overclocking:

Well where should I start?! We were able to run the ram at stock multiplier and timings at 275 mhz (stable 2,5-3-3-8) and after that we lowered the multiplier to 7x and got it to 330FSB and after that we raised the voltage to 3.4V on the ram which is pretty much so we had to run a extra fan to just cool of the memory. The ram is not stable at 330FSBx7 multiplier as we were not able to run SuperPi but other benchmarks worked great. We could have probably gone further but need better cooling for that. This ram overclocks well so you will have fun for a long time while tweaking this ram to the max. Remember though just because we were able to get this you might get even higher or lower all depending on your computers parts etc.

275 FSB 2,5-3-3-8
300 FSB x7 2,5-4-4-8
330 FSB x7 2,5-4-4-8

Conclusion:

This is great ram that overclocks very well so you can get a decent speedboost after overclock. Mushkin makes very good ram and that is something that we have been able to take a part of lately. This is a very stable memory at stock speeds and it runs very cool also at stock speeds. If you decide to overclock I would recommend some extra cooling on the ram if you decide to take it abit further. It’s very well packed and as I said earlier on the review their packages are amazing. Overall we give this ram our Editors choice award for extremely high performing ram that will give your computer a very nice speed bost.

Pros:

+ Fast
+ Overclocks well
+ Well packed
+ Heatspreaders

Cons:

- Price?
