Introduction
Time for some sweet memory again. We have a new sample from Mushkin on the test bench. We will look at their latest DDR2 memory called P2C4200 and the sample we got is a 1024 mb one. We will as usual compare it to some other memory and give you some overclocking stats. The memory market is pretty funky at the moment so if you are in the market for some new memory you really should look at this review and hopefully get some clues as towhat you should get.

As all Mushkin memory it was packed in this little bubble filled with air which gives maximum protection as the memory lays in the middle. You can actually use these again so save them as you might have use for it later. Inside the bubble we found the memory, sticker, and a nice Mushkin pen.

The memory is covered in this silver colored heatsink to maximize the heat transfer and get the hot air away from the memory. On one of the sticks you have a small sticker that tells you what kind of memory you have in your rig.

As we can see you can pretty easily clip of the heatsinks from the memory even though I find no reason to do it

Testing was done with the following programs, Aida32, Pcmark2004 and Sisoft Sandra 2005. Stability testing was done by running Sisoft Sandra 2005 testing and Everquest 2.
