MSI MegaPC 180
Sisoft Sandra 2004 Cpu Multimedia:

The barebone is actually faster in handling multimedia than the Albatron board is.
Bios:
The bios is a Phoneix award bios as the normal blue ones. I did not see any new features or settings and that’s why we decided not to take any pictures. The screen was also flickering so we were not able to get any decent pictures so we left them out for these reasons.
Overclocking:
We got the FSB from 160 mhz stock to 182 mhz before the computer said stop. We did not do any voltage changes etc. This is just to show you the potential that this barebone comes with even with overclocking. At 182 mhz the barebone was rock stable but at 185 mhz we could not get it to boot.
Installation and stability:
I have to say this is a very stable computer than runs like a clock. Installation was a piece of cake and if you are a n00b the manual will show you step by step how to install everything. I had no problems benchmarking with the computer and it was stable during the whole time we used it.
Conclusion:
This is a very nice barebone. It competed with the normal XP systems out there and it’s very small. You get tons of nice features with it as FM radio , mp3/cd player, etc and these are just without the computer running. You have all the needed ports in this barebone as you can even run dual screens with the onboard Geforce 4 MX. Soundwise the barebone might not be the quietest but with some modding I bet this thing gets very quiet. I love the way they have made the casing itself by having a micro finnish in the front and nice black color on the rest of the casing. Overall I find this to be a very high quality product from the outside and the inside. Overall we give this 5 out of 5 and a recommendation for a great high quality barebone that performs very well and comes with great features that other barebones don’t have!
Pros:
+ Fast
+ Nice looking
+ Good features as FM radio, mp3 player, media card reader
+ Easy to use
+ Well packed
+ Overclocks well
Cons:
- Lack of documentation
Red&Blackness gives it 5 out of 5 dots
