This board comes with a American Megratrends bios system. The bios offers many different settings and we are only showing you a few of them.

The right picture shows the PC health menu where we can see voltages and temperatures that the computer runs at.

In the Cell menu you can set the memory frequencey, voltages, and adjust many other overclocking features. This is a very nice menu and they have collected all the needed settings into one menu which makes the board easier to use for overclocking.

Overclocking:

Overclocking wise we were able to push the processor up from 4800+ all the way to 5600+. These are some decent results as the board offers a variety of settings which makes it easy to overclock as I already said before. We used the stock latency on the ram and raised the Vcore with 0.5V.

Conclusion:

I have to find some words to conclude this review. To start with this board is quite cheap as you can get it for under 100$USD. You get SLI among several nice fetures with the board. You also get good performance and stable operation as we saw in our tests. The product is as usual a high quality product that was well packed and had good documentation and the only real con I can see is the flat IDE cable. I mean come on now MSI we do live in 2007 and you don’t include a rounded IDE cable?! The bios menus are awesome and easy to find in and the cell menu relly made it easy to overclock the board and as you saw we were able to push the cpu quite high by changing a few settings. Overall a good board for a low price.

Pros:

+ Stable performance
+ Well packed
+ Good documentation
+ Good component layout
+ Nice bios

Cons:

- No rounded IDE cable
