Conclusion

Overclocking:

Default settings on this card is 475 mhz 3d core and 950 mhz on the memory. This will be very interesting to see what we can do with these settings. MSI has something called D.O.T overclocking. It is their own overclocking system. You get 6 choices of overclocking and by just pushing apply you get certain settings. There is a commander mode which is supposed to give a 10% but does it? After some testing I did not see a performance gain by having the DOT activated. Well what about just normal regular overclocking? We got the memory from 950mhz up to a nice 1058 mhz! This is a very nice gain and we can probably go even higher with better cooling, but what about the core? The core was at 475mhz at default and we got it up to 590 mhz stable. This is not bad overclocking at all!

Conclusion:

This is an expensive card as it goes for around 400$. If you don’t have any money problems then this is the card to get. Is it the fastest card on the market up to date? You get unbelivable speed even after maxing your settings in games. This MSI kit is very good since you get tons of software and games to play with. There is only one flaw and that is that the card is BIG! The cooling takes up alot of space and you need 2 PCI slots open to fit this monster into your computer. I personally will try to mod it a bit and get a waterblock on it if possible. The fan makes noise but it’s not horrible and it does not spin if the card is not working to hard. All in all we give this card our fullest recommendations and 5 out of 5 for a fast video card that makes your gaming a very very nice experience all the time :)

Pros:

+ Fast
+ Very good games and software included
+ Good accessories
+ Good cooling

Cons:

- Expensive?
- Its a big card that needs some space in the case
