Here we have a menu up, it’s actually the settings menu. It’s pretty basic and everyone should easily learn this player even without a manual.

Software:

The software included is a image editor which you can see below and a lyrics editor.

We can see that the software is basic which is good as everyone can use this. You can flip and rotate and make your images smaller. This is a good program that really is a bonus for the player.

Conclusion: This is a nice player that you can get for around 200$ which is not to bad for a player with as much features as this one. The case makes it feel more luxurious and gives the player a nice feeling. The buttons are well placed except the combined play / fast forward button which really should be separated. It does not have a USB port so you can plug it in right away in the comp so you need a adapter or cable everytime which I find annoying after awhile. It has good sound though; I tried a few different equalizer settings and I was able to push out fairly good sound with the earphones included. I also tried with Shure E2C earphones and they sounded pretty good with this player also. Overall very good accessories included with this. What about the software then? Well as you can see the software is easy to use and they give a nice boost to the player. Overall we give this 4 out of 5 for a good player that comes at a low cost and offers you tons of nice features.

Pros:

+ Aluminum case
+ Easy to navigate in
+ Good sound
+ Good accessories
+ Good battery time (up to 19h)
+ Easy software

Cons:

- No USB 2
- A bit big for most people
- Adapter or cable needed for file transfer

the “game” setting is used when gaming on the xbox or ps3, and since on the consoles the headset is forced to use its built-in sound card, there is a faint hissing when using it, which is why i presume you said it was awful… when using on the pc just keep it on “pc” mode
