The keyboard runs on three batteries which you can mount after you have removed this little battery lid. Now it’s time to do some testing on this keyboard and mouse.

The program:

These are just a few screenshots from the mouse program and settings that you can make with this mouse. Menus are very easy and you don’t need manual to figure all this out :)

Testing:

Ok after awhile testing I’m amazed with this keyboard. The keys are very very quiet and the keyboard is nice to type on. The mouse on the other hand is also very nice even though I tought the left mouse button was a bit to little. My finger kept slipping down on the scroll wheel since the button tilts a much to the right. All in all though this is a very well put together kit that works great for a gamer as well as a normal user.

Conclusion:

Time for a conclusion again. This kit is pretty awesome and I saw it go for about 99$ here in Sweden so it’s probably cheaper in the USA etc. The keyboard amazed me with the almost quiet keys and the extra buttons to make the time you spend by the computer even nicer and more ergonomic. You got extra buttons for about everything, to just point out a few of them we have the volume etc for playing music and a scroll wheel on the keyboard to save on your mousehand. Well what about the mouse? The mouse fits very well in your hand and works well for even gaming. You have the horizontal scroll on the mouse also which is very nice. The only flaw I felt was that the left mouse button tilts a to much to the right which atleast for me made the finger slide down to the scroll wheel. Although this might be something I need to get used to since I’ve been using my Logitech MX700 where the buttons don’t tilt to any of the sides. All in all I want to give this kit 5 out of 5 for a great kit that comes for a good price if you compare to for example Logitech products. Very nice work by Microsoft.

Pros:

+ Nice color scheme
+ Scroll wheel on both the keyboard and mouse
+ Good price
+ Alot of extra buttons for a more ergonomic usage
+ Easy to install

Cons:

- Left mouse button tilts a bit to much
