We have taken a few screenshots from the keyboard software and as you can see there are settings for all the buttons and you can decide what they are supposed to do. The software also shows the battery level and the wireless connection strength.

This is from the mouse software instead, you will have them as two separate things on the start menu. It’s the same thing here as with the keyboard, the picture of the mouse buttons are highlighted to show which button you are changing at the moment. I prefer to have the side buttons to be back and forward personally, but it’s up to everyone to decide what they prefer.

Conclusion:

This is a excellent keyboard/mouse kit, you get a wonderful keyboard to type on and a matching mouse to it also. The only con I could find with the mouse was that it lags in games and especially FPS games but otherwise it works great for normal usage with scrolls for two ways and it’s comfortable to hold and use. The keyboard was just excellent, I was worried that the new natural design would bug the crap out of me since I have used the older naturals for so long but you adapt quite fast and the soft wrist rest works great if you type for longer periods of time. The photo section helps you to take care of your pictures faster and the free software that comes with the product helps you to handle the pictures even easier. Overall we feel that Microsoft has upgraded their keyboards and mouse alot since last time we reviewed something from them and by that they have created a well suitable kit for all users. Therefore we give this product kit 5 out of 5 and our recommendations.

Pros:

+ Soft hand rest
+ Quiet
+ Good software
+ Well packed
+ Photo section
+ High quality

Cons:

- Mouse lags in FPS games
