Introduction
We all know how it feels when you have to carry around the annoying cable and it tangles up everywhere and gets stuck. Macally sent me these interesting USB,Firewire and Network cables which are retractable. These seem to be a intresting solution. Well lets check it ouuuuuuuuuuttttttttt…………….

5 feet of cable in this little thing. It’s flat cable so it does not take up alot of space. 5 feet enough? Maybe they should make bigger ones with like 10 feet cable for Lan The usb and firewire cable has a adapter also for smaller devices as digital cameras etc.

As we see on the right picture there is a blue led that turns on when the USB cable is plugged in so you know that it’s working
Conclusion:
This is a really cool idea and a good product from Macally. The only thing I found that was bad was that its only 5 feet long… Possible to make it longer? Otherwise this is a high quality cable which is really good since it basically dissapear and you don’t need to have to cables hanging around and your kids etc playing with them. Also one positive thing is that both the firewire and USB cable has adapters for digi cams etc, and the USB cable is USB 2 for fast transfer. All in all a great product and because of that we at rbmods.com give it 4 out of 5
