There are four well designed feet that keep the cooler of the table so it also works as a laptop lift if you want to have it higher. You cannot adjust the height of the cooler but the feet are equipped with small little rubber pads to prevent damange and scratches on the table you set the cooler on.

On the back of the cooling pad the have placed two heatpipes to help remove the heat from the pad itself. Normally you need a fan to blow cool air on the heatpipes but in this case they have decided to skip the fan so it will be interesting to see how this performs.

This is my 17 inch Samsung laptop and it fits quite well on the laptop cooler, although it sticks out about an inch on each side. As I said this is meant for a Macbook that are way smaller and thinner than a normal PC laptop.

Testing:

We tested this laptop with the laptop cooler and without the cooler we had idle temps on the computer of 47 celsius and load temps of 52 celsius, these were both taken with ambient temperature of 21 celsius.

With the laptop on the laptop cooler we idled at 45 celsius and at full load we were able to obtain a temperature of 49-50 which is quite decent for a fanless solution.

Conclusion:

The laptop cooler does its job, we were able to drop temperatures and that way also lower the noise since the fans didn’t have to run as fast. The quality of this cooler is amazing with an aluminum build across the whole unit. You can feel the quality and I really doubt you will be able to break this unit easily. The cons that I have found are that you can’t adjust the legs it stands on and the price of the unit is currently around 90-100$ which is quite a bit higher than other laptop coolers but if you want quality this is something to look at.

Overall it has done what its supposed to do and it works perfect for a Macbook aswell as a PC.

Pros:
+ Nice looking
+ High quality
+ Well packed
+ 2 handles

Cons:
- High price
- Legs cannot be adjusted
