The batteries are about 4*4 cm in size and about half a centimeter thick. Logitech decided to make these batteries to make the mouse lighter, compared to for example the older Mx1000 version. According to Logitech these batteries are supposed to last about 10 hours playtime and this is something we will look at later in the review. The mouse looks alot like the older Mx1000 version but instead of having two buttons by the thumb they have made it one big one, which is a smart move in my eyes.

The mouse fits perfect in my hand, and I don’t have big hands at all, so this mouse fits both small and bigger hands. On the left side they have mounted a button that you can program to whatever action you want it to do. I feel after using this for a few weeks that it is ergonomicly very well made, I don’t get any hand pain as with other mice. On the top you have the scrool wheel that scrolls horizontal and vertical. There are also two buttons that from beginning are programmed to increase and decrease the sensitivity on the mouse, these can be set by you also to do whatever action you prefer.

On the bottom you will find a eject button that will eject the battery so you can push in a new one. On the right picture you can see the difference sizewise compared to a Razer Diamondback and a SonyEricsson V800 cell phone. This Logitech mouse is a bit higher than the Diamondback but it fits better in your hand due to this.

The software for the mouse is easy to use and navigate in, you get four different tabs in the software that you can go through and set up the mouse excatly as you want. On the first tab you can set the buttons and what actions they are supposed to do if clicking on them. On the second one you can set pointer speed and acceleration etc.
