Conclusion

3dmark2003:

This is one of the tests that the 5900XT really shows that is abit slower than the Ultra card. This card is alot faster though than the 9600XT card which is a very fast card also but this shows that the 5900XT outperforms the ATI card.

Overclocking:

According to Rivatuner the memory starts at 700mhz and the core at 300mhz. Rivatuner is the overclocking program that we will use for this test. We got the core from 300mhz to 400mhz with a stable 3dmark run. The memory on the other hand went from 700mhz to 840 mhz!!!! That is just amazing for memory without heatsinks. This is a card that overclocks very well and it gives it really a good boost.

Conclusion:

This is something amazing. The card goes for around 200$ and still performs superb. It’s a cheap card that most people can afford and with the really good overclocking possibilities you can make it even better. You get tons of accessories and cables so you don’t have to worry about that part. The fan is very quiet and I can barely hear it with my watercooling rig. The only flaw that I found was that there are no heatsinks on the memory which probably prevents me from going even higher when overclocking the memory. All in all we give this card our fullest recomenndations and 5 out of 5 for a card which is probably the best card on the market for the price and speed ratio that you get.

Pros:

+ Overclocks very well!!
+ Cheap
+ Alot of acessories
+ Fan is quiet

Cons:

- No heatsinks on the memory
