Conclusion

We keep going through the menus

Settings:
There is a ton of different settings in the menu and this is a like a mini receiver. You can put from extreme bass to jazz settings :) So there is really something for everyone. You can also play around with the display settings and adjust the contrast etc on the display. This player really has everything that is needed. Maybe a possibility to change the memory is the only thing missing.

Jens of Sweden has really put some thought on the headphones when they have made it so you connect them to this little clip thing so the cord won’t break. It’s also easy to clip of whenever it’s needed.

Sound
Well I’m not a expert in sound but these headphones do not sound that good but I guess they work for a normal user. They are not comfortable in your ear. So what I recommend is to buy some more expensive ones that you like. I tried my Sennheiser HD200 ones and with them I could try the unit and it’s settings a little better. The result was that it sounded really good with pop, techno, rock etc etc. The settings make everything possible.

FM-Radio
The unit has a possibility so you can auto tune in the stations and even in places with bad contact to the radio net. This player found most of the channels that even bigger radios have a hard time finding. We are getting closer and closer to the final here and we see that this unit really roxor.

Firmware
There is always the latest firware on Jens of Sweden homepage. THe unit I got had the latest firware with fixed bugs so I found nothing that messed around like restarts or bad sound

Size
Well I have a picture to show this ultra light and really small mp3 player. But the battery time is still 14 hours, which is really good for a built in battery!

Cons:
Well what to say about this? Well it’s easy to use, lightweight, small, and has good sound quality. The price? Well around 180$ which is not to bad at all but I guess it could be lower also. There is not much to say about this product more than that we at R&B Mods recommend this product after it has been tested by 3 users. We all agree on the points we have brought out in this review. Jens of Sweden got our support on this product!

Pros:
+ Price
+ Packed really well
+ Can upgrade firmware
+ Nice looking
+ 128 or 256mb memory
+ Small and ultra light
+ Battery time
+ No drivers needed in WinXP

Cons:
- Headphones are not good or comfortable
- Drivers are not sent with the product for Win98

the “game” setting is used when gaming on the xbox or ps3, and since on the consoles the headset is forced to use its built-in sound card, there is a faint hissing when using it, which is why i presume you said it was awful… when using on the pc just keep it on “pc” mode
