Size does matter, at least when it comes to a computer mouse. We all have different sized hands therefore a ‘one-size-fits all’ mouse isn’t satisfactory for everyone. On these pictures I’m comparing the Reaper vs my Logitech G7 mouse which is a big mouse overall, the Reaper is a bit longer while the G7 is a bit higher. I think that the Reaper fits most hands due to it being a bit lower than the G7.

Sorry for the blurry picture here but I wanted to show the nice red color the logo lights up with. They have mounted a LED under the plastic to light the mouse up and this led does not get warm even after hours of gaming.

Software:

The software is quite easy to navigate through, the tabs on the top will tell you what functions that specific page holds. The first “Button” menu lets you adjust all the buttons and the double click speed which you can even test by double clicking on the picture in the program.

The roller menu has 9 assignments setup already by default but you can change all these programs if you feel you have a use for them. I think this function is really good for people that are new to computers and have problems finding their way in them as it is.

There are several different tabs in the software itself but the rest is mostly standard settings like wheel clicks, movement speed on the pointer etc that you can even find in windows. The DPI menu is an important place though especially for gamers that want to set the DPI up for a specific game. Remember that this mouse has a button to set the DPI. It will change between three different settings with one push on the buttin if you setup the fixed DPI value.

Testing:

I have used this mouse for awhile now and one thing I cant get over is that the shape of it is not as good as with Razer mice for example. They have not shaped the mouse well where the thumb goes on the left side of the mouse. Otherwise movement wise the mouse is really good both in games and in Windows. It reacts to movements extremely fast and the DPI button allows you to make it alot more sensitive with a simple push of a button.

Conclusion:

Overall this is a great gamer mouse, as I said good movement and reactions and the only thing I could find anywhere close to being nagative would be how the left side is shaped on the mouse. I love the way they have set three buttons on the side which really helps you to surf the net with for example a reload button or whatever function you prefer. I don’t think I have much more to say about the mouse, the only “bad” thing I could find was the shape of the left side of the mouse.

Pros:

+ Lightweight
+ Well packed
+ Lots of buttons
+ Simple software
+ Superb reaction on movement

Cons:

- Shape of the left side on the mouse
