Gigabyte GA-8I915P Duo Pro Socket 775 motherboard

It was awhile ago since we looked at a motherboard so today it’s time to have a closer look at one. We have a board from Gigabyte, but the name is kind of funky ‘GA-8I915P Duo Pro’ so let’s hope the motherboard is easier to use than it is to pronounce the name :) It’s a DUO motherboard which supports both DDR1 and DDR2 memory. We have tested some DDR memory with this board already when we tested the Corsair DDR2 and it really was a speedster kit, but today we will test some overclocking, standard benchmarking, and also have a closer look at what features the board contains.

The box itself does not say to much and I was not able to find the name of the board for some reason. I don’t know if it’s just something they have missed or if I was blind, it’s probably me :) On the back they have listed the main features that this board holds. We have some nice specifications on it above the pictures if you are interested in having a closer look.
