The included remote control has a very thin, sleek profile that matches well with the style of the frame. The buttons are well-labeled and easy to press; using the remote control is much easier to use compared to the buttons on the frame (though Im glad both options are provided).

Using the digital photo frame starts with loading up a memory card with photos, video, and/or music.Yes, the frame is more than just a picture slideshow; you are able to also play video and music, which adds to the versatility of the frame. However, the frame only works if at least one picture is loaded on the card.Once the card is inserted into the frame and the frame turned on, a simple menu is provided to choose from Photo, Music, Video, or File mode. After choosing a mode, another menu comes up listing the files for that particular mode. All in all, the menu system is easy to navigate and fairly intuitive once you get used to the button functions.

Picture quality of the photo frame is surprisingly good.As expected, the photos dont look as good as they do on a full computer, but the colors remain vibrant and the pictures still look reasonably sharp. You can also zoom and rotate the pictures. One thing that Ive had problems with other digital frames is that the brightness is often too low; this frame has good brightness levels that are adjustable.Overall, I thought picture quality is better than average (the photos that I took dont do the picture justice; the frame really does look good). You can use the frame to display photos on a TV or monitor.

Another thing thats nice about this digital photo frame is the slideshow mode, which has a configurable time setting. You can also play music along with the pictures.

Conclusion:

Geeks.coms Digital Photo Frame is a versatile product that does provide a great way to display all your digital photos. The frame accepts a wide variety of formats, and the picture quality is sharp and high quality. While I did notice some minor areas for improvement, overall this product performs its main job well and has earned a spot on my desk.At ~$100, this frame is reasonably priced and delivers where it counts.
