Geargrip LCD harness
Geargrip is a pretty big company that is working behind the scenes since they don’t make hardware or modd products. They make carry bags for screen and computers. They sent me a sample of their LCD harness which is a carry “bag” for your LCD screen. This seems to be a nice high quality product that you can use when you want to move your TFT screen to LANS or when you are moving etc etc so stay tuned as we have a closer look.

The LCD shield provides a triple layer of protection for the surface of your display.
Energy absorbing foam laminate outer layer for blunt impact protection.
A super stiff ABS honeycomb core to protect against sharp impact.
An additional inner foam layer for extra protection and soft contact with the surface of the display.
Caution: LCD displays generate heat during operation. This product should not be used while the LCD display is on.

To start with check out their website and you will see you can get products for your CRT screen,barebones etc etc. This LCD harness comes in different colors, personally I wanted to this silver/black one. Available colors are red, navy blue, black, blue/black and silver/black. I feel this is really good since you have alot to choose from. The harness is really high quality and has a front pocket for cables etc.

The harness has two big clips so there is no chance that your TFT will fall out. The right picture shows the back of the harness and as I already pointed out we can see this is a real high quality product.

super stiff ABS honeycomb core inside to protect from scrathces. I felt around with my hand and I have a really hard time making it so that nothing would happen to the screen. Basically you don’t have to worry about it. On the right picture I have mounted my Samsung 172S TFT screen in the harness. The Harness is very light weight so all the weight depends on your screen. There is a handle so you can easily carry the screen around. If you prefer to use a shoulder strap you just have to clip it on and carry it around with that instead.

Conclusion:
Well there is not much to say about this product than that it really rox. I feel this might not be the most necessary thing to buy. However if you move your computer around alot this is a product you cannot miss out on. There was really no flaws on this product except the price, the one I got goes for 59.95$ and the smallest ones go for 40$ so it’s a little pricey but at the same time you get what you pay for. A very high quality product which gets 4 out of 5 and a recommendation for a really well made product.
