Introduction
The webcam market seems to be on hold at the moment, we do not see to many webcameras out there. Creative recently released their new webcam though, and we got our hands on a sample of it. The Live! Motion webcam seems to have some cool features such as panorama pictures, face tracking, etc… Tonight we will take a closer look on all these features and see what type of conclusion we can come to about this new webcamera from Creative.

This product was packed in a plastic cover that you need a knife to open up, I wish they had some type of clip system instead so you don’t have to break the cover to get it open. You can see the camera though and on the back you can read about the features this camera holds.
New features on this card are a smart face tracking, motor for camera movement, and usb2. We will look closer into these features and test them out to see if it’s worth putting your money on this specific webcamera.

Inside I found a manual, cd with software, headset, and the camera itself. The headset is very interesting. Basically it does not fit in your ear, it’s to big for your ear! We have tried it with a couple of people and we are unable to get this to fit or stay on anyones ear so they could use it. I don’t know if they have made a design mistake or what but we can’t get this to work out even after a few people have tried to figure it out.

This new design on the Creative cameras is a mixture of the new Live cameras and the older webcameras on the market, what do I mean with this then? Well it has a small ball on the top that moves and the foot/stand part is from the new Live cameras as you can mount it on top the screen. The USB cable is about 1.5 meters and the usb connector is gold coated. On the left picture you see the camera standing normal and by adjusting the leg as on the right picture you can mount/hook it on to a TFT monitor.
