Today we will take a look at the Cougar’s newest mainstream computer oriented power supply called A450. It is 450W supply with 120mm fan and reasonable price. Let’s see how well it performs.

The packet is colored all in black. On the frontside there’s a large A-letter printed in it, alongside with 80+ Bronze efficiency tag. In the lower left corner it has the numbers 450W printed in it and lower right corner has some SLI-Crossfire compatibility labels. The backside shows the most important specifications about the power supply. Basically all the information I gave you in the features / specifications section is printed in the box.

Inside we find the power supply well packed. With the supply we get a brief manual, a couple screws, and a power supply cord. Cougar A450 has 1x 24pin ATX-connector, 1x 4+4pin +12V cpu connector, 1x floppy connector, 6x SATA-connectors, 3x Molex connectors and one of both 6pin and 6+2pin PCI-E connectors.
